Pop Art

Pop Art is sort of cartoony. It has lots of bright, bold colors and also uses Ben Day Dots. Ben Day Dots can be used to create skin color or just bring a more appealing factor to your image. One famous Pop Art Artist is Andy Warhol.

Change My Look

This was our first in class shooting assignment. We took pictures outside and in the cafeteria of our partners so that we could change their hair color and eye color but also add other images and pieces to our photo.

Layer Masks

A layer mask is a feature that allows you to paint in parts of a picture but also hide parts without completely erasing them. In this photo, I changed the sky, darkened the overall picture, and added the children, fire and tent.

Magic Wand and Selections

The magic wand tool selects part of your photo and makes it easier for you too cut and paste certain parts of your image based on color. For my landscape photo I used the marquee tools, lasso tools, quick selection, and my magic wand tool to create a new picture.

Crazy Combos

I made a Peacow. This is a mix between a cow and a peacock. I again collected pictures from the internet and combined them to look like one individual animal, a Peacow. I used the Marquee Tool, Magic Wand Tool, combining selections, transformation, cropping, moving, copying and pasting to make my imaginary animal. I refined and feathered the edges of my selected images  to make them appear more smooth rather then a rough selection.

All About Me

I made a collage filled with pictures that depict me. I got images from the internet and put them all together in photoshop. I used the Marquee Tool, Lasso Tool, Magic Wand Tool, and Quick Selection Tool to cut out my pictures and place them the way that I wanted them to be and the Text Tool to add my name. I also rearranged the layers to put pictures on top of each other.
