Before and After

This is my friend Taylor. I thought it would be fun to try and see what she would look like without braces. So in my free time I cloned them out with the Clone Tool. I also had to add a tooth in the back to make the photo look more realistic.

Macro Sharpening

For this assignment we were told to take pictures on our camera using the macro setting. This setting allows you to photograph objects close up and play with the depth of field in the image. Sharpening your photos helps to define the main object of your photo. You can also use a layer mask to hide parts of the photo that are sharpened too much.

Favorite Photographer

I chose Matt Stuart as my favorite photographer. I liked the way he chose to photograph real people. His photos are funny and I feel like people could relate to that kind of everyday life.

Splash of Color

For this project I first changed all of my pictures to black and white. Then, I painted back in the parts of the image that I wanted emphasized. I did this by using color masks and the brush tool. But you can also use the History Brush Tool to do this.
